
BARBELL

The O.G.E.R. BARBELL CLUB classes focus specifically on the two Olympic lifts. Wednesdays are dedicated to the Snatch, and Sundays to the Clean & Jerk. Classes are 1 ½ hour blocks, with coaching for the lift of the day. Programming, which all athletes are expected to follow, is set for each week. Athletes are individually coached to ensure each lifter improves as quickly as they are able. Participation in the O.G.E.R. Barbell Club requires approval from the coordinating coach and requires a Saturday try-out. Try-outs focus on core lifting basics, movement analysis, and 1:1 discussion to ensure athlete abilities and goals match the Club design. Athletes looking to improve technique and strength with the Olympic lifts or just improving CrossFit performance will find these classes to be both beneficial and demanding. O.G.E.R Barbell Club participants who wish to compete in Olympic Lifting specific competitions may also participate in the O.G.E.R Juggernaught team, with coach approval.
